My Granny!

Well, I am finally ready to put this down on (virtual) paper. My granny passed away last Tuesday, May 27th. I was there when she passed, and I am so thankful for that. My uncle, my cousin and I were all there. The whole family. It all happened really fast, but I am so glad she did not have to be in pain for any longer. My cousin and I were not even in South Carolina for 24 hours before she passed and I know she was waiting for us to come. We both flew in asap when we heard what was going on and thank goodness we did. I do not even want to think about if I was not there when she passed.

She was my best friend and she always told me that we saved each other. She officially adopted me when I was 12. She is the most selfless and strong person that I will ever know. I see a lot of her our birth mother Cydney and it makes me love her even more! I am really sad that granny never got to see Abigail in this life, but I know she is playing with her in Heaven now before she is sent to us. I just know she is teaching her how to be a pill!! I hope she is as strong and loving as my granny was.
