More and more paperwork

Just when I thought we were in the clear of paperwork...nope! Dale, our awesome case worker down in Idaho Falls sent us an email yesterday saying that he attached 'some forms' for us to fill out and get back to him. So I'm reading along the email just saying 'ok, ok, we can do these, this looks simple....' So I scroll down and....there are 10 attachments to this puppy! I print them all out. That's another 20 pages of paperwork. So here we go again! Wish us luck!

Would it be...?

Would it be weird to have a Dr. Seuss themed room? Too loud?

But the REAL idea would be something a little like this!

Be bold

"Be bold, and mighty forces will come to your aid."  - Basil King

I have decided that this is going to be my new life motto. Not that I was ever really shy before. I'm actually quite outspoken and honest in my thoughts and feelings. I just think it is so inspirational for the trials that Matthew and I are going through right now. There are so many questions floating around us that we have no idea how to begin to answer or explain. But we love each other and we work hard  for each other.

I just have to be honest. I am totally nesting! Without a baby in sight. And I know the agency is telling us not to get our hopes too high and to remain realistic. That waiting is the name of the game. But you know what! I'm nesting in a major way and I don't care who knows it!! I want this baby, we want this baby. We know that he or she is out there and we are getting ready for them. I just think that if you show the Lord that you are ready for rain, He will send it. I have to believe it. I have to have faith that good things will come our way if we believe. I have cute little spaces carved out of almost every room now ready to be filled with diapers and bottles and adorably tiny clothes. And you know what? I want it all. I want the all-nighters, the rip your hair out, the poop going all the way up the back. I don't care! I am ready to love it all. The cuddles AND the chaos. So come on world, send us a miracle because we are ready to wait you out.

Just us!

Well....I fail at blog posting. It was been a year since my last post and so I have a lot of catching up to do. Matthew and I are doing great. It seems like work and school is all we do these days, but we still sneak in a little fun here and there. I will be graduating from BYU-Idaho this April with my B.S. in Event Planning. Matthew still have 3 more semesters, but he is slowly working it off little by little. He is still working at John Deere which he of course loves. I am working at Salt Lake Express, a shuttle company here in Rexburg and I love all the great people that I work with. We just put our papers in for adoption and we are crossing everything we have that it will all go smoothly and hopefully quickly. We cannot wait for a bundle of joy to hit our door! We have had a lot of paperwork so far and lots of classes and running around getting things signed and reviewed, but it has been so fun and exciting. We met with our case worker on Wednesday and he and Matthew hit it off right away. We all did. It was a great experience and made us all the more ready to move forward. We are all smiles and we get things together and sent off for him to file so we can start prepping for our home study. Let the deep, deep, deep cleaning begin!!
